Church @ Car Boot Sale (CABS)

CACBS may be a church but it couldn't be more different from a regular church such as St Michaels. Instead of a beautiful building, in the middle of an equally beautiful common, we have a Transit van in the middle of a farm field in Boreham.
From this van we sell hot drinks on a Sunday morning between 7.45 - 11.30am during the months of April to October. Half of the money we take is given to charity. Since CACBS began in 2011 many £1,000's has been raised for local causes.
In addition to serving drinks we have prayer request cards that our customers can complete. The prayer requests are circulated to the team by e-mail so they can pray for whatever is requested. We also have tracts for customers to take away with them.
We don’t push Christianity onto anyone, but there are always people on hand to answer questions or have a chat.
