God calls us to SHOW the love of Jesus, SHARE HIS Word with everyone, GROW together as HIS family.

Ministry

We believe at St. Michael's that we should make a difference to our community: locally, nationally and globally. To achieve this we have a range of ministries through which we work.  This section sets out details of these ministries.

If you have an interest in any of the ministries at St. Michael's or have ideas for beginning a new ministry, please contact the vicar, Andy Griffiths or Stephanie Gillingham.

Children's Groups

SONbeams (age 0-3)

SONbeams is ideal for babies, toddlers and preschoolers.  You can stay with your child if you prefer, or leave them in the capable hands ot two adults.  You may wish to stay in the service for as long as your child is comforatble - we understand children sometimes make noises!

SONlight (age 4-9)

Children of this age group stay in the service for the first 15 minutes, then go out to their group.  A dedicated group of leaders will help your children undertand Bible stories, enjoy their time and start to encourage them to pray and read their Bibles during the week to come.

MEGA (age 9-13)

These 'tweenagers' stay in the service for the first 15 minutes, then go out to ttheir group, where the activities include games, bible-discovery and a chance to ask the 'Big Questions' of life.
