God calls us to SHOW the love of Jesus, SHARE HIS Word with everyone, GROW together as HIS family.

Ministry

We believe at St. Michael's that we should make a difference to our community: locally, nationally and globally. To achieve this we have a range of ministries through which we work.  This section sets out details of these ministries.

If you have an interest in any of the ministries at St. Michael's or have ideas for beginning a new ministry, please contact the vicar, Andy Griffiths or Stephanie Gillingham.

Friendship Plus

Mums and Carers, Babies and Toddlers you are invited to Friendship+

This lively group meets at Keene Hall on Wednesdays between 9.30 am and 11.15 am during term time.

A health visitor is present the first and third Wednesday in the month.

Friendship+ aims to provide a place to meet new friends and where your children can enjoy toys and activities.   Craft, music and storytime will sometimes have a Bible theme.

Refreshments are provided and if you can, we ask you for £1 to cover costs.

All are welcome, including dads and grandparents.

Please come and join in the fun.

For more details contact Sue Kitson on 01245 265443

Pastoral Care

Our pastoral care team has been set up to help us as a church to show the love of God to others.  If you or someone you know would like a visit from a member of our pastoral team or a bereavement visitor, please let Rosemary Lister know 01245 609790.

Wednesday Fellowship

Wednesday Fellowship is for retired people and meets at 2.15 pm on the first Wednesday of the month in the Church.

The meetings inclyde a variety of speakers and groups to share God's message in word and song, a Harvest Lunch, Christmas and Spring specials and a Strawberry Tea, all providing opportunities for fellowship and enjoyment.
